The Learning and Development department of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo recently initiated a tree planting awareness programme and staged an environmental themed competition for staff in honour of Earth Day.
The awareness programme was conducted to educate and raise awareness amongst hotels’ associates. Two ‘Ahala’ or Golden Shower saplings were planted on the hotel premises by Denis Gruhier, General Manager and Hulangamuwa, Chief Engineer, along with several Heads of Departments and Associates of the hotel.
