The Kingsbury’s winning culinary team

The Kingsbury’s restaurants were once again recognised at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards (WLRA). The Ocean was selected as Regional Winner – South West Asia’s best ‘Luxury Seafood Restaurant 2017’. Harbour Court received two awards as Regional Winner – South West Asia’s best ‘Eclectic/International Cuisine Restaurant 2017’ as well as the ‘Country Winner – Sri Lanka’ for the best ‘Luxury Hotel Restaurant 2017’. This year’s awards ceremony was attended by the most notable in the food and beverage industry at an event held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

WLRA is renowned in the global hospitality trade for envisioning higher levels of culinary service through healthy competition and setting the basis for service industry standards. During its annual voting phase, WLRA confers recognition on luxury restaurants in the relevant category with votes being gathered through various channels, including guests and industry professionals. Judging criteria include culinary excellence, outstanding atmosphere, memorable experiences and service.
